Hank Spooner is the murder victim in the episode Cuffed.
Spooner was an independent rig operator out of San Antonio, moving furniture to New York City, behind which were crates with tigers in them. Hank was the mule for a dangerous Texas-based family, the Spurlochs, who bred tigers in Texas, where this is legal, and smuggled them up to New York for rich clients to fly them out.
Hank had dealings with DEA Agent Chuck Martinez, and when he looked like he might rat them out, Ruth Spurloch had Hank silenced and dumped without fingerprints.
