Melanie Cavanagh (née Davidson) was the murder victim found at a construction site who had been missing for over 5 years in "A Chill Goes Through Her Veins". She was murdered by her husband Samuel Cavanagh, her death being due blunt force trauma to her head, and was put in a freezer with help of Samuel's friend, Charles Wyler. She left behind two daughters, Simone and Bela, and was survived by her parents, Ben and Julie Davidson.d
