Philip Westlake was a wealthy American businessman and the father of Damian Westlake.
In the early 1990s, he threatened to cut his son Damian off, so the latter had him murdered in the family's Puerto Rican holiday home. The case was solved many years later by Beckett and Castle, who were investigating another murder allegedly committed by Damian. ("The Final Nail")
