Teddy Farrow is a fashion designer of upscale clothes for women. While his clothing line is expensive, his label is much sought after.
Farrow is in New York City during Fashion Week; a time when designers and models descend upon the City to display the latest trends. Farrow is presenting his newest collection during the week with an exclusive party and runway show. Teddy had been thinking of making Jenna McBoyd the face of his campaign, but she dies the night before his big show. Though Jenna was Teddy's favorite model, the show must go on. And it does. Farrow continues with his show, and names Sierra Goodwin the new face of his campaign. But he is worried that the scandal surrounding the case will cause his business to suffer because it will bring negative attention to the entire spring line of his clothing. Though someone has been killed, Farrow believes that "clothes are what separate us from animals" and that they define civilization.
